Hair Extensions Help Transform Young Mom in Oprah Show Makeover

That’s a family photo of Suzanne Aldridge of West Bloomfield, Illinois, a the self-described “poster child for unsexy” before her makeover on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’. Then, on national TV, a transformation took place as a team stylists went to work, and hair professionals cut, colored and added hair extensions for the mother of two.

If you saw the show, said the Detroit Free Press, “you couldn’t help but gape in astonishment at Aldridge’s transformation [left] …She… clearly got her sexy back.”

The hair professionals who cut, colored and put hair extensions in Aldridge’s hair were led by Ken Paves, famed Hollywood stylist to actresses including Eva Longoria Parker, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson. The goal: to make Aldridge not only look, but also feel great.

In the month since the makeover, Aldridge says she’s has been vigilant about working out at a local health club. She loves her hair, she says, and she puts on a little lipstick, mascara and moisturizer with sunscreen every day.
