Reader Blayde has uploaded photos of a Malaysian hair extension application technique she says is great for adding fullness to fine Caucasian hair. She writes:
“The Malaysian method for hair weaving is very neat. Not only is it as effective and easy as the common braid/sew method, it allows better integration, less bulk and a very flat track. It is great for those with thinning hair… as well as any other hair type. I have posted some pictures so that you guys can see exactly how to do it yourself.”Share This

This beautiful young lady is Keisha Burton before she got hair extensions.
Keisha’s 11 years old and she’s been wearing extensions for a couple of years because she’s such a busy bee she doesn’t have time to worry about her hair.
The second photo is Keisha with her hair extensions. She participates in a different sport every season, and also loves to swim. So there’s little time in her busy life to care for her own hair so it’ll look the way she likes.
Her mom, Cheryl Burton, says Keisha gets hair extensions done every two to three months because “There is no way there would be time in our lives to do her hair after every shower and with the extensions we do nothing. We don’t even brush them. They’re very easy to care for.” More »
