Ultima Yaki Styling

Sleek & Natural

Yaki hair is one of the most popular products for weaves and extensions

Wearing extensions made with Ultima hair. R&B songstress Natasha flaunts 3 Yaki styles. Made from organic protein, Ultima is the closest thing to human hair.

The collagen protein gives Ultima its soft, lustrous appearance, natural look and feel which is similar to human hair. Ideal for extensions, wigs weaves and braiding.

PUFFY YAKI

PUFFY YAKI

By using low heat, you can work with the natural texture of Yaki hair without compromising its feel. The bangs were kept long and full for added drama. For a natural feel, style with low heat at 270º
SOFT YAKI STRAIGHT

SOFT YAKI STRAIGHT

Cut to highlight all of its sharp angles. To balance out the points, slightly cover one eye to exhibit a sexy contrast. A sleek finish is achieved by using a water based créme followed by a light bevel.

Create long bangs and flat iron with serum.

SOFT YAKI

SOFT YAKI

Graduate the hair on an angle with precision. Long hair needs to be shaped for an authentic look. Use a flat iron and style with an oil-free serum.

Cut hair on a sharp angle and flat iron bone straight.

Ask the Ultima Ambassador Stylists: How to Do a Twist Set

twist
twist(2)
You can curl and straighten Pro10 hair extensions made with Ultima Organic Protein over and over. If you want to restore the curls or wave pattern, a twist set works magic according to Ultima Ambassador Stylists, Lavett Jones and O’Kela Neveaux.

“A twist set is a perfect way to maintain Ultima Pro10’s wavy and curly textured weaves so the curls last. It also can be done with your own hair to give the hair appearance a naturally curly or wavy texture,” Neveaux says.

Technique: Apply mousse or setting lotion to the hair. Then, divide the hair into small sections of two pieces at a time and twist them together as is you were braiding. Next, curl it around your finger and clip or pin it down, or put a small perm rod at the end. Another method is to cornrow the hair toward the back or toward the front – depending on the length – and then place the rod at the end. Applying mousse or setting lotion helps achieve the look.
